As the economy has slowed down, MABBR has unfortunately
been impacted as well. Adoptions and donations have slowed to a
point that it is making it difficult for us to keep up with our
ongoing monthly expenses.
Without adoptions and donations coming in, MABBR
has no income and no way to continue helping these precious dogs.
Our funding completely relies on our loyal supporters and donors.
Right now we need your help! MABBR currently has 6 dogs in paid
boarding. Our boarding bill alone averages $1500 per month. We have
set a goal to raise $2800 towards our boarding expenses to help
us stay on track through these difficult times.

Welcome to Mid-America Bully Breed Rescue
Welcome! MABBR was created by a group of bully breed
enthusiasts to save these delightful but often misunderstood dogs.
Not only does MABBR rescue and find homes for homeless bull breeds
such as American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers,
American Bulldogs, Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Bull
Mastiffs, mixed breeds, and other Mollasser-type dogs, MABBR also
focuses on education, outreach, and assisting cities with drafting
safer and more effective breed-neutral dangerous dog laws.
Incredi-bulls for Adoption MABBR's mission is to rescue great bully breed ambassadors
and place them for adoption. Candidate
MABBR dogs are selected from animal shelters across the Midwest.
After evaluation and vetting, dogs are either fostered or boarded
until their forever families are found.

all of our dogs from crowded animal control facilities and shelters. Please

Despereaux finds
a family! From Newkirk, Oklahoma to living his dream!
Despereaux was one of the 11 dogs we brought back from Oklahoma. When
we took him everyone thought he wouldn't make it much longer. Des seemed
tired and old and we wondered how long he would have.
As
fate would have it though, he was taken in right away by an extraordinary
foster home. They showered him with love and kindness and a new dog began
to emerge. Des no longer seemed old and tired. In fact, he started acting quite young!
For the perfect ending, or beginning actually, Des had actually been
home with his forever family since he left Oklahoma ;) His foster family
decided that he fit so perfectly into their lives and gave them so much
joy, that he would stay with them as their very own. We couldn't be any
happier for Des. He came a long way to find such a wonderful family to
call his home!
A very special thanks to Jenn and Mike for loving Des so and giving him
this amazing new life, and for continuing to work so hard for all the
bullys!
